SPRINGFIELD, Mo.—Released July 14, “Fill This Place” is the fourth single from the upcoming album, SOAR, from Influence Music.

A mid-tempo call to worship, “Fill This Place” was written by worship leaders Jake Espy and Jerrica Matrone. They are two of the eight full-time worship staff at Red Rocks Church, which currently serves an average of nearly 8,000 people at three locations on the outskirts of Denver, Colorado.

“Part of the culture here at Red Rocks is writing songs specifically for our church,” explains Espy. “Our mission is to reach out to prodigals, to lay out a welcome mat for people to come back to church and not be judged. ‘Fill this Place’ declares the truth that God is light in our darkness, the answer to every issue or problem we are facing in life.”

Matrone started singing the bridge one day in her car. “It just became the anthem for my life,” she adds, “a simple little faith boost declaring ‘I’m going to worship God no matter what.'”

“Worship is at the heart of Red Rocks,” says pastor Shawn Johnson. “As a church, whose mission is to ‘make heaven more crowded,’ we utilize worship as an opportunity to make a connection with people at all stages in their relationship with God. There is something vulnerable and unifying about standing together in an act of worship.”

The fourth single from the much-anticipated Influence Music release, SOAR, captures the modern, grassroots approach of the album. Free chord charts will be available for the entire collection.

Produced by John Hartley (Matt Redman, Leigh Nash), SOAR will be available August 2015, featuring original worship music from leading church ministries around the U.S. The official worship release, SOAR, establishes a new benchmark, capturing the sounds and spirit of innovative churches around the world.

“Jake and Jerrica have created an excellent piece of worship music that is both welcoming and inspiring,” says Sol Arledge, president of Influence Music. “This release fits perfectly into the vision we have for Influence Music: to develop and change the worship community through encouraging, Spirit-empowered songs of worship.”
